Melanie has been a Licensed Massage Therapist here in Oregon since 1998. She is also a Certified Reiki Practioner, instructor of massage therapy, and L.M.T. Board Member on the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists.

In 1997, she graduated with honors from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in Boulder, Colorado where she studied various modalities including: Swedish massage, deep tissue, neuromuscular integration, Orthopedic massage, Reflexology, Japanese Shiatsu, and sports massage. She received her Oregon license of massage in 1998 and has been happily providing therapeutic massage and bodywork to the public ever since. Her main specialty of massage is the integration of all that she's learned to create a specialized treatment for each client’s individual needs. She uses many techniques that are focused on treatment specific injury rehabilitation, and overall general relaxation/ wellness of the body.  Over the years, she has taken a variety of continuing education classes to learn new techniques, advance her skill level, and provide the best quality of service possible to her clients. She is dedicated to this profession and will do all she can to ensure the continued growing success in the field.

When she's not working on clients, teaching, or attending OBMT board meetings; Melanie enjoys playing drums, listening to music, working in her garden, and enjoying the outdoors.
