ADAPT 101 Workshop
Course Description:
ADAPT 101 provides a thorough introduction to the ADAPT Training System and will elevate any coach or trainer’s understanding of the what the human body requires to function free of pain and injury.
This course provides a comprehensive description of parameters used to create an effective functional assessment of a client. The ADAPT principles will demonstrate guidelines to build a training progression specific to the function of the client or team in relation to the training goal. The focus of the hands on workshop will be how to design a workout and organize training techniques to counter all negative effects from compensative movement patterns and uneven fatigue.
Course Objectives:
1) Develop understanding of ADAPT Training system and the requirements of the human body.
2) Establish a framework to organize training techniques into a functional progression.
3) Teach exercise modifications appropriate to function level of client / team.
4) Learn to utilize muscular coordinators to counter negative effects of uneven muscular fatigue during training.
