Get Moving Safely with this Low-Impact Structural Endurance Workout
Muscular Efficiency Classes are designed to introduce structural demand and performance in a group setting. During these hour-long classes an increased emphasis is placed on restoring joint function, establishing proper movement patterns and safely introducing dynamic movement to individuals’ bodies. By providing clients an opportunity to be with a therapeutic instructor, we are able to provide a more controlled environment that allows for corrections and individual adjustments to be made. Throughout the week, classes are further delineated into specific focuses of Dynamic Strength, Dynamic Endurance, Dynamic Balance or Dynamic Range of Motion.
Dynamic Strength and Endurance classes are focused on the proper introduction to demand with restored joint function and muscular balance. These classes will act to provide an individual with an increased level of integrated demand. Designed to challenge individuals at a safe level of performance, Dynamic Strength and Endurance classes will allow for clients to achieve improvements in strength, coordination and balance without compromising joint function.
Dynamic Balance and Range of Motion classes are focused on improving joint flexibility and coordination without sacrificing the integrity of the movement pattern. These classes will act to provide an individual with increased dynamic functional range through a variety of active and passive exercises.
